Our MUSic Ministry

At Liberty Community Church, the Music Ministry exists to glorify God by leading the congregation in heartfelt and skillful musical worship. Our aim is to play songs of praise that stir repentant believers to respond in genuine worship (Ps. 95:1-2; Col. 3:16; Heb. 13:15). Each church reflects the personality of its people, and at Liberty, our music has always been led by a modern, contemporary band while honoring tradition through updated hymns.

Our music blends modern and traditional styles to inspire worship and focus hearts on the Lord:

Contemporary Worship: We select songs from trustworthy sources that prioritize biblically sound lyrics, encouraging genuine praise and reflection on God’s works.
Timeless Hymns: These beloved hymns are performed both in their traditional arrangements and with refreshed, modern interpretations to connect with worshipers across generations.

Our vision for Music Ministry:

Focus on Christ: Direct hearts and minds to God through songs that glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Foster corporate worship: Encourage the congregation to sing together with one unified voice, glorifying God as a body of believers.
Provide clear leadership: Vocalists prioritize leading melodies that are easy for the congregation to follow.
Sing truth: Choose songs that accurately reflect biblical doctrine, the nature of God, and His mighty works.
Promote connection: Emphasize both the vertical (worshiping God) and horizontal (encouraging one another) aspects of congregational singing.
Teach through music: Strengthen and encourage the gathered church through thoughtful, Christ-centered song selections.
