There is no denying that the world is filled with darkness—natural disasters, political divides, and injustice. It’s all around us, but how do you deal with this darkness? Do you let it consume your thoughts, or do you ignore it, hoping it won’t affect you? What do you turn to for hope in this dark world?

Jesus: The Light and Life of the World is Part One of a Bible Study series about Jesus. We'll dive into John 1, 6, 8, 9, and we'll explore Genesis 1-3 and Matthew 5 to see how our relationship with Jesus can bring us hope even in the darkest of times. In the 21 lessons, we will walk through Scripture using the time-tested Precept Bible Study Method that will allow us to discover the truths of God's Word for ourselves. The questions within this study are designed to get us thinking critically about the Bible, what it means, and how it can be applied to our lives.

What You Will Discover:

  • Jesus' "I Am" statements-and what they mean: Discover what Jesus meant when He said, "I am the light of the world and I am the bread of life.

  • Stability in Adversity: Learn how to cling to Jesus during life's storms and dark times.

  • Eternal Hope: Jesus is your ultimate source of nourishment, helping you grow spiritually.

  • Renewed Purpose: How you can partner with Jesus in being the light and life of the world!
